Earlier this month, Team Pennsylvania's Board of Directors gathered for our annual meeting, followed by a luncheon at the Governor's Residence with board members, partners, supporters, and friends of the organization.
We are grateful to Governor Josh Shapiro and First Lady Lori Shapiro for their hospitality as we welcomed new board members, recognized outgoing directors for their service, and reflected on another year of progress.

Our Agriculture Director, Kelly Kundratic, and 2026 Summer Fellow Emmanuel Kraft toured Dickinson College Farm’s methane digester in Carlisle this month. The system turns dairy manure and local food waste into biogas, powering the farm and around 20 to 30 nearby homes while diverting food waste from landfills and producing fertilizer and bedding. Dickinson’s experience offers useful lessons in how integrated renewable energy systems can be designed around farm operations to tackle pressing environmental challenges, like managing waste and producing renewable energy, all in the same proces. . .
